This briefing draws together key messages for practitioners and parents/carers from two sources of the national evaluation of A Better Start (ABS): the second Annual Report (2024) and second themed report. ABS is a ten year (2015 – 2025) £215 million programme set up by The National Lottery Community Fund (The Fund). ABS is designed to support families in giving babies and very young children (0-4 years) the best possible start in life.
