New video resources provide an overview of Blue Cabin's creative life story approach to working with children, young people and their carers.

Since 2016, Blue Cabin has been nurturing meaningful relationships between care-experienced people and the organisations in their lives. These videos, presented by Jenny Young, Director of Blue Cabin and Nic Golightly, Associate Artist at Blue Cabin, explore Blue Cabin's creative life story work model.

The Blue Cabin approach is based on Richard Rose’s model of Therapeutic Life Story Work. It provides space for children and young people to make sense of their lives, so that they have the chance to move forward with confidence in who they are and where they are going.

The videos explore the creative life story work model, examples of Blue Cabin’s creative experience sessions, and an evaluation of how the Blue Cabin approach has been used across local authorities.
