Structural inequality and discrimination continue to impact people from a range of minoritised groups. For Human Rights Day, we are highlighting a range of Research in Practice resources that focus on the promotion of human rights and anti-racist practice with children, families and adults.

To support the development of anti-racist practice, a suite of video resources that explore this issue in more depth will be open access until 15 December. The resources are designed for use in children and family services. However, much of the content will be relevant to anyone working within adults or children’s social care organisations.

A new Research in Practice podcast explores working with minoritised men. The podcast discusses the Journey Project, a service being developed in Leeds City Council to work with fathers from a Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic background, with reflections from a father who took part in the project.

This series of 14 short films explores anti-racism in children’s social care. The videos are designed for use in children and family services. However, much of the content will be relevant to anyone working within adults or children’s social care organisations.
