Learning Pathways
Learning Pathways are a dedicated modular resource that can support you with your learning journey.
Learning Pathways guide you through key topics with summaries, tools, case studies and reflective questions to build your skills and knowledge.
By following a pathway, you can deepen your understanding of a key topic, learn how to use tools and approaches, and build skills that can support you in your work with children and young people, families, adults, carers and communities.
We are continuing to develop Learning Pathways and gathering feedback to improve our offer. You can give feedback on the first pathway when completing the first module. Sign up to email updates to hear about new releases.
Continuing professional development
You can record your learning and reflections when completing a pathway. Use this as part of your continuing professional development (CPD) record for registrations, professional standards and renewals, such as Social Work England and Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
Self-directed learning
Learning Pathways are self-directed and are designed to be flexible, allowing you to complete at your own pace. Each section has a guide of how long it will take to complete, and your progress can be recorded in stages on your Research in Practice dashboard.
Learning Pathways are available to Research in Practice members. You need to sign in to your Research in Practice account to start a pathway and you can record your progress in your Learning Pathways dashboard.
