Older people are the largest group of people accessing adult social care and many need expert input due to the complexity of interrelated factors arising from ageing and ageism. Social workers have a central role in ensuring legal duties are met, coordinating support in an integrated context, and providing advice and mentoring to others.

In this open access webinar, we will share findings from the first large-scale research study into social work with older people and explore how social workers can be supported to promote older people’s wellbeing most effectively.

This webinar is for Principal Social Workers, senior managers, team managers and others who lead and influence social work practice with older people.
